Red Shelton is a redbone coonhound, around 5-6 years old. A bit on the shy side at first, he warms up with repeated belly rubs! Gets along great with other dogs and is healthy, though he has some special dietary requirements to help prevent allergies. Not a digger, not an escape artist, house-and-crate trained, Red would be great in a home with OLDER children (around 12 and up), and with another dog or two to play with. Cats are an unknown.
Red is fostered in Jacksonville. His adoption fee is just $150, which includes all of his vetting- shots, deworming, neuter and microchipping. He is up to date on everything, on heartworm and flea prevention and ready for his forever couch. To set up a meet-and-belly-rub, just email us.
